The BBMRI Community of practice

The BBMRI.it ELSI Community of Practice platform, as an RRI digital community, aims to improve networking, dialogue and sharing of best practices, tools and hot topics between all actors in the biobanking research and life sciences process in an open, user-friendly and collaborative digital environment.

Each participant is an active part of the system and otherwise irreplaceable: citizens and patients initiate, participate in and are the recipients of the process, ethics committees evaluate and monitor, physicians provide information and collect samples, biobankers take responsibility for complying with quality standards and ELSI requirements, researchers initiate and develop new health and research scenarios that will return to citizens and patients.
