Participation Guidelines
Below are the participation guidelines for the BBMRI Community of Practice platform.
Everyone is welcome to browse the platform’s public areas freely.
To actively participate in the BBMRI Community of Practice, you will need to register:
If you represent a BBMRI research biobank, sign in using the institutional credentials provided by BBMRI.it to manage your biobank’s page.
If you are joining as a member of the Community of Practice—for example, as a citizen, researcher, representative of an ethics committee, professional association, institution, or research organisation—create your own login credentials.
Information required for registration
Participant name: Your full name or the name of the association, network, or organisation you represent. The name you register with will appear in discussions and other activities within the Community of Practice.
Email address: If you are participating on behalf of an association, network, or organisation, please use your institutional email address.
Password: Your password must contain at least 10 characters. Avoid numerical sequences such as “123456” and information directly related to your name or email address.
Pseudonyms are not used within the BBMRI Community of Practice. Our interactions and activities are intended to support the open exchange of challenges and good practices, while strengthening a participatory, inclusive, and open community model.
At any time, participants may:
access and update the information available in their profile;
request the deletion of their platform profile and the removal of their email address from the newsletter mailing list.
